Considering an upgrade to your clinic’s veterinary X-ray machine? Fovea delivers advanced digital radiography solutions for vets, empowering them to deliver outstanding care to patients. Unlike other large veterinary equipment suppliers, Fovea focuses solely on veterinary X-ray machines. We deliver superior software solutions and tech support from the people who design and build these machines.

We never contract with a third party to install your new veterinary X-ray machines. Every time you contact us for tech support, the engineers who built your equipment will answer your questions, not someone trained to speak on our behalf.

When you talk to Fovea about a world-class veterinary X-ray machine, you’re getting more than just a digital radiography device customized to your needs. You’ll get a team backing you up, coupled with the industry’s best warranty.

Whole-Body Veterinary X-Ray Machines

For animals weighing 225 pounds or less, our whole-body veterinary X-ray machines allow you to raise and lower the table based on the animal you need to examine.

The lowest setting is 18 inches off the ground for large dog breeds or small livestock like goats or sheep. The four-way float tabletop adjusts easily to different animal sizes between patients.

Smaller animals that aren’t very mobile could work better with the table raised. Larger animals or ones that might be skittish would be better with the table lowered.

There’s no need to invest in multiple veterinary X-ray machines for different animal sizes at your practice!

Veterinary X-Ray Technical Specifications

The usable surface area is 1,914 square inches, or 13.3 square feet, at 58 inches long (nearly 6 feet) and 33 inches wide, or almost 3 feet. That gives most animals the space they need to lie down when keeping them immobile during the imaging scan.

Our proprietary irisHD DR flat-panel monitors range in size from 10×13 to 17×17, depending on your needs. The image appears above the diagnostic table so you can confirm the diagnosis while keeping the patient on the table. High-resolution images get as small as 100 μm up to 150 μm when you need to zoom in on the image.

Equine & Mobile Veterinary X-Ray Machines

Sometimes, you need to go where your patients are. Our portable equine and mobile veterinary X-ray machines fit neatly into a sturdy, splash-proof composite case to protect the unit in transport and at the site of your diagnosis.

If your patient is in a rugged location, the mobile veterinary X-ray machine can withstand the elements. The unit weighs 21 pounds, so it’s lightweight for transport.

You still need to assess and diagnose your patient correctly once you’re there. The anti-glare HD screen, at 21.5 inches, provides plenty of clarity to assess your patient in the field, even in direct sunlight.

There is sufficient space in the case for a 14×17 panel if you want to connect to an additional, larger screen for better viewing. This is particularly helpful for mixed animal use or in a barn.

Portability That Meets Your Needs

Battery life is important with mobile vet X-ray technology. Our units can last up to 8 hours and take as many as 500 images before charging.

You can easily exchange batteries without shutting down the equipment. The detector is 13×10 inches. It’s nearly unbreakable because it’s made of flexible material rather than glass.

Invest in a portable backpack if you need to walk longer distances to remote locations. The backpack can handle almost everything the sturdy case can.

Dental Veterinary X-Ray Machines

From a complete system or individual components, our dental veterinary X-ray machines can be tailored to your requirements.

You’ll be able to capture high-resolution digital images on a business-optimized laptop loaded with our imaging acquisition software. The dental sensors we incorporate into the system are specifically designed for veterinary use.

Versatile Applications for Veterinary Patients

Our veterinary X-ray machines can be used for animal patients of all sizes. The sensors can capture high-resolution images of small animal body parts such as paws and claws as well as extremities on avian, reptile, and exotic patients.

For customers with multiple pets, the ability to provide care to any type of animal can be a differentiator for your veterinary practice. This results in exceptional veterinarian-client-patient relationships and lifelong customers.

Handheld and Wall-Mounted Options

Choose from handheld and wall-mounted dental generators based on your requirements. The handheld works well for fieldwork, while the wall-mounted unit fits neatly against the wall of your examination room to stay out of the way until needed.

The wider tube voltage produces super image quality, and the swinging arm allows for easy positioning based on the patient’s size.

Which Veterinary X-Ray Machine Do You Need?

The team at Fovea stands out from other veterinary X-ray machine providers in two key areas.

  1. Veterinary X-ray machines are our core focus. Our products are tailored to meet the needs of animal patients, ensuring that you can provide quality care.
  2. Our customer support is second to none. Fovea technicians install and service the products as needed. This means efficient, expert support for your machines.

We don’t outsource a single part of the install and follow-up, unlike large companies who hire third parties (that may or may not be experts). With Fovea, you can trust our research-based digital radiography solutions for veterinarians.
